The process is handled very smoothly with our Project Manager reviewing your foundation and designing a plan of installation. He will provide you with a detailed written proposal stating the work to be done and also the estimated costs.
Once you make a decision to move forward with your egress window installation they will arrange to obtain the necessary building permits and schedule a crew to do the installation.
Our crews are expertly trained in the installation of egress windows and follow all the manufacturer’s recommended installation instructions. Most of the excavations to install an egress window is done by hand to avoid and damage to the landscaping. Once the wall opening is cut it is important to properly prepare the space for the installation of the window itself. It is important that the window have proper drainage to protect the basement from flooding.

Attention to downspouts and other drainage is another important consideration when installing an egress window. It is important that all water be directed to a location away from the foundation and the window well opening so that surface water does not flow into the window well and into the basement.
